We’re getting closer and closer to our child coming home to us... OMG typing those words is NUTS. It still hasn’t properly sunk in! I think it’s because we haven’t actually met him yet - it’s the last thing you usually do in the adoption process, meet the child(ren). We did however get pictures of him during Christmas which completely melted our hearts 😍🥰 We are in full sort-the-house mode. Our walk in wardrobe room is being turned into his room, the loft needs clearing, his room needs decorating, all breakables need moving to higher positions - he’s probably going to be walking by the time her comes home to us. There’s lots to do. But actually it’s really enjoyable and therapeutic doing it all. I know that sounds weird, but it is! We have our matching panel - where we get officially approved to adopt this child- towards the end of this month and then it’s GO GO GO. WAhhhhhh 🙈🙌🏼❤️🤪😬🤐😵‍💫👍🏼👎🏼👶🏼
