Catching a huge reticulated python while standing on an instable ladder?🥵 Let's go! 😍😍 @balireptilerescue got a call from a man about a big snake in his garden. He asked us to safely remove it and release it back into the wild. He did the absolute best thing one can do in this situation! I was very happy when I heard I could catch this snake, cause man, I love reticulated pythons! The catch? The snake was last seen in the neighbour's garden, which was located higher than the garden we were in. Using a ladder was our only option. This ladder was quite wobbly, and since I need both of my hands to catch a large snake, I had nothing to hold on to. Luckily @jasonsavagephotography held the ladder for me, so I could focus on the python. Later I saw why the python was there. The neighbour had a lot of chickens! Of course this such an easy meal is irresistible for a python, so no wonder he came by. I was able to safely catch the python. What a beauty! Let's go! We werden gebeld door een man die ons vroeg een grote slang uit zijn tuin weg te halen en weer in het wild vrij te laten. Ik zag meteen waarom de slang daar was! De buurman had namelijk kippen! Jason hield gelukkig de ladder vast, zodat ik mijn beide handen kon gebruiken om de slang te vangen. Wat een prachtig dier! Ik ben ontzettend blij dat deze man slangenredders heeft gebeld.
