I’ve loved makeup for as long as I can remember. I was that little girl who would sneak into her moms makeup bag at 4 years old and make a mess all over my face and the bathroom. At 10 I started to wear lipgloss to school and would keep it in a little makeup bag that I was so proud of. By 11 I asked my mom for a skincare routine that I excitedly did every morning and every night and by 12 I asked if I could start wearing more makeup. From then on, every birthday and Christmas I would ask for more makeup. I would spend hours watching makeup reviews and tutorials on YouTube, and would dream of building out my dream makeup collection. I’ll never forget hearing about the @TooFaced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palettes and how the packaging felt like a chocolate bar and the product even smelt like chocolate! From then on I had fallen in love with Too Faced products. As a blind person, I always appreciate how tactile their packaging is and all the fun scents they use because it gives me a multi-sensory way to experience the products. It helps me figure out which product is which in my vanity, and allows me to feel more connected to the products I’m using, even though I can’t see them.
