Super cool to be invited to the White House to witness @joebiden sign legislation for a proposed National Museum for Asian Pacific American History and Culture. Couldn’t have imagined being in a room at the White House full of Asian American leaders & representatives less than 10 years ago, because I was too scared to even vote in rural Alabama. I also finally got to wear my favorite pair of socks at the White House (swipe left)
