Jacksonville! There’s only ONE thing that can beat the energy & morale of the city when the first @Jaguars home game takes place - & that’s if the Jags win that home game! The game is on Sep 18th & is taking place in Downtown Jacksonville’s TIAA Stadium, where the Jags will be playing the Colts. Tickets are still available (as cheap at $35 at the moment) & I promise you, it’s 10000% worth experiencing at least ONCE in your life (& this is coming from a non-football fanatic, who blocks off this day every year since the first time I’ve attended). Tailgating culture in Jacksonville is almost as important as the game, & if you’re not the one hosting the tailgate, my biggest tip to you is park in Downtown / San Marco / Springfield, but DO NOT DRIVE to the stadium & the video gives you the exact ways to prevent you from being stuck in grid-locked traffic. ** Stop - watch the video - then read below for the details ** 1. Scooters! The 5 companies you can choose from are : BIRD, Blue Duck, Helbiz, LINK, & SPIN. Each one costs $1 to unlock, & range from $0.19 cents/min with BIRD, to $0.35 cents/min with SPIN. **Tip - SPIN may be the priciest, but you can take their safety quiz & get a $5 credit 2. River Taxi! The @rivertaxiandtours is a better alternative for those who plan on drinking throughout the day. You can take a scooter to the stadium, & a River Taxi back. Special event day taxis are $15 for roundtrip tickets, & they start operating to the Met Park dock at least 2 hours before the event starts - & will be there once it’s over. Yes, you can drink on the boat! 3. Buggies / Shuttles! The 4 shuttle companies in @dtjax are Beach Buggies, Explore Jax Core, Tuk’n, & the one shown in the video, Outeast Jaxi. Prices vary per company & whether you’re getting picked up from a specific location, or meeting them at a pick-up spot. Beach Buggies operate in Jax Beach & San Marco & are free (but do not transport to the game).
