WOAH! A bazillion thanks to @clamorandlace and the randomness of the universe that brought them strutting and sparkling past my booth where I was slinging pickles at the @hornerparkfarmersmarket a month ago.. and thus to my first chance to perform with these impressive people last night at @avillefarmersmarket. 🥒🫙🌽🥕🍅🥬👩🏻‍🎤💅🏻👑✨🔥🤯😍🎷🥁🎺🪗📣🪩💗 What an amazing wild milestone moment in my ongoing (lifelong, I’m sure) journey to repair, relearn, and re-approach relationships with parts of my life that hold confusing or harmful histories. I like the feeling of being happy playing music!! ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹🔍🔍🔍🩹🩹🩹🔗🔗🔗 It has been a total blast so far to practice together in our accordion player’s basement (yeah, WE HAVE AN ACCORDIAN, Y’ALL); utilize the group’s extremely effective and thoughtful organizational structures (I reallly live for Ops, and this is seriously well-done); feel a generous and supportive reception as the newest member; and then of course suit up for my first ever performance!! 🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶 💗🌟🪩🥂💗🌟🪩🥂💗🌟🪩🥂💗🌟🪩🥂 🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵 Can’t wait to keep feeling agency, fun, camaraderie, and freedom while playing my clarinet and shaking my 🍑 and wearing cool outfits.
