Today was incredible at first, and then so rough. I was so happy that the record finally came out but then so devastated by this cruel& painful decision to once again restrict women’s rights over their bodies and their lives. I traveled for the first time since January 2020 and I flew to San Francisco. You can see my disembarking mad professor vibes in the first photo. (I didn’t do that the whole way- but I tried to stay as safe as I could 🤞) Thankfully San Francisco is at the height of beautiful Pride 🌈🙌🎶💕 Walking around refilled me with hopeful energy and my cousin took me to visit the Grace Cathedral- which was all decked out in rainbow colors. When we left, the cathedral sang a goodbye bell song for us. Then there was night blooming jasmine. I’ve missed you California. Tomorrow I play live for the first time in 3 years. I can’t wait to hit the stage in Napa with the amazing Norah Jones. 3 shows with Norah in California coming up 💕🌴 See you out there. Stay hopeful. Stay strong. Stay loving 🌈❤️👊
