Another world!🌋 This is what you see during the hike to the volcano in Iceland. We passed the old crater which is HUGE if you see it in real life. The helicopter gives a sense of scale hopefully. As you can see, the old lava from a year ago is still hot. The black new formed landscape is incredible to see. It definitely doesn’t feels like walking on earth on this part. In the distance you see the smoke of the new volcano. When the helicopter flew over it, we realized all this was gonna be way bigger than expected.
