A Winter PSA ❄️📢 I could have also titled this “the things I wish I knew before moving to the mountains”. As much as I love where I live - driving backcountry roads and mountain highways still make my palms sweaty, but this list helps so much! I hope it encourages you to take the step towards being a winter wanderer! A few other things to note👇🏾 ❄️ Car care is your first line of defense. Get your tires checked and keep them updated. Make an appt to get snow tires if you do not have 4-wheel drive! ❄️ Supply your car with the things you need in case of emergency: snow shovel, sand, first-aid kit, extra water, snacks, etc. ❄️ Follow the department of transportation accounts and visit the website for your area!
