It’s taken me almost 2 years to say with confidence that I own & run my own business. I had immense imposter syndrome & these horrible feelings of ‘what if I fail’ ‘this isn’t sustainable’ ‘people will get sick of me’ ‘I’m from small town kentucky, I don’t have the connections like others’ kept running through my head. But.. today in class, seeing the community moving together two & half years later, feelings of immense gratitude fell over me with tears streaming down my face. I am so proud of what I have created & the community that has formed. Moving & growing together each & every day. to all my entrepreneurs & future entrepreneurs... the truth is.. you’re never going to feel ‘ready’. you’re never going to have it all figured out. But if you know in your heart that you believe in your business, your product, your path.. whatever it is with 100% conviction, you will succeed. Do your best to keep your eyes on your path & those meant to be on your journey will naturally follow. You will have to pivot, you will make mistakes, you will have imposter syndrome BUT you will learn AND you WILL succeed. Move by lexfish ONE DAY will have a beautiful space dedicated solely to teaching out of.. but for now, you can catch me in my kitchen with schmitty every morning at 7 am PST.
