Tea time with @heirsofafrika and @nyxcosmetics will go down as one of those events I cherish forever. In between the tea, champagne, bougie little finger foods that I can’t pronounce, and tons and tons of pictures, we got DEEP. The lovely @koshiemills pushed us to be vulnerable and share what drives us. I spoke about what comes as no secret to y’all. “I want to be the woman that has it all,” I said, “Or at least 80%. Right now I’m at 50.” To my very pleasant surprise, the ladies around the table concurred that I shouldn’t stop until I get to 100. Period. Purrr. Case closed. I basically floated out of that garden on a cloud of their support. I’m very happy to report that I woke up this morning, and I’ve updated my goal. I now want 120% 💕😇. @koshiemills, @heirsofafrika and @nyxcosmetics thank you for all that you do to support us women, specially Black women. We came from different parts of the country, different industries, different backgrounds, but we left that tea with the same mindset.
