Perseverance~ Awards definitely aren’t the be all and end all. They don’t define your worth as a human making our way through life, and I don’t believe they should be the compass we measure our talents, dreams or skills against. After all, awards are subjective, and not everyone’s going to appreciate your talents, or like what you do - and that’s more than ok! (Spoken like someone who doesn’t play any sports 🤣, bear with me!) • But... of course, there’s a but! To say I’m proud of our @clioawards win is an understatement. Every team member at @redbullrecords cares vehemently about every single track that launches. There are no back burners, no wait and sees, no spaghetti at the walls. The team work tirelessly for all of our artists, and I’m so proud for us to take this moment and bask in this wonderful recognition from such a prestigious body in our industry. • And so, I’ll leave you with this: To any one in a rutt right now, or knowing your value isn’t being noticed or put to its best use for whatever reason... I promise you, it’ll pass. Your time will come. You’ll get that seachange for you to shine. To find your lane. To innovate. To push yourself in ways you already know you can but just need a forum to do it in. So be ready! It could literally be tomorrow. Believe in your gut, don’t be afraid to punch holes in your ideas, and fight for them when needed. And when your moment comes, you won’t even crave the awards anymore, because the only recognition you’ll really care about, is your belief in yourself.
