CHICKEN + MUSHROOMS one of the easiest dishes you can put together with some white rice on the side. You can skip the mushrooms or add in a vegetable of choice- you’ll be done in under 30 minutes šŸ¤ HERE IS ALL YOU NEED TO DO: -in a pot with oil add one large onion (chopped, sliced, or in my case- puréed) and sauté it. Once sautéed add in -7-8 pc chicken tenderloin (cubed) -add 1 tbsp of minced garlic and your spices -spices: 1 tbsp ground coriander + chicken bouillon. 1 tsp black pepper, turmeric, and salt to preference. + a spray of saffron (optional) -mix this and allow it to brown up for just a few minutes. -add in sliced mushrooms -sauté again for a few minutes -add 1 cup of stock or water -close the lid and allow the liquid to evaporate, the chicken to cook through, and the mushrooms to soften (about 8-10 minutes) -remove the lid, lower the heat to LOW -add in 1 cup plain yogurt (i used greek) and continuously mix until smooth -with heat still on low add fresh cilantro + mix Just a few minutes later you are ready to SERVE + ENJOY . . . . . . #recipes #recipe #recipeoftheday #chicken #mushroom #curry #stew #qorma #korma #afghanfood #cilantro #peppers #afghan #feedfeed #tastemademedoit #tasty #tastyfood #buzzfeedfood #foodie #food52 #foodstagram #foodstyling #reels #cooking #kitchen
