I was so incredibly sad to hear of Mira Calix’s passing. I’m still in shock of the news. I had the great, great pleasure of performing with Chantal on a few occasions and always had such a lovely experience. Her presence was so warm and her work was so thoughtful and beautiful. Every time I was around her it was such fun. She was a truly wonderful human who will be desperately missed. My thoughts go out to her family and friends. This photo was from the last time we performed together in London 2012. This was at a rehearsal for Tarek Atoui’s La Suite for the Serpentine Gallery. RIP
