// 🗓 May 2022 ⭐️ 8.5 / 10 🍷 2020 Pheasant’s Tears Khikhvi 🌍 Republic of Georgia Had to make do with the only acceptable lighting in the tour bus before playing Project Flow in DC, excuse the awful photo 🥲 This gorgeous amber wine (looks exactly like orange soda without the fizz🥲) is the smoky, earthy, pungent wine I was craving. Lots of floral dynamics once the bottle opens up, medium tannins that leave the mouth salivating for more. I’m a broken record but this region really takes the cake for me. The ancient and rare grape varietals, the 8,000+ year old process they’ve stayed true to, the deep commitment to upholding the pure relationship with nature.
