Exactly one year ago, I opened the doors to my first ever showroom presentation to launch @bachmai to the world, and what a wild ride it has been so far. @nicolephelps from @voguerunway was the first appointment, and I was absolutely nauseated with nervousness as I paced around the home of my dear friends @davidvence and @gregleleu who graciously allowed me to take over their living room for a week. This past year has been filled with too many incredible moments to recount from debuting at @nyfw and the #MetGala red carpet to receiving a @cfda award nomination for American Emerging Designer of the Year. It was truly been both surreal and humbling. Thank you so so so much to everyone who has supported me on this insane dream of a journey. Thank you to my family and my father whose unwavering support allowed me to reach for the stars. Thank you to all of the amazing editors, stylists, and industry veterans who gave me and my work a chance. Thank you to all of the women who have connected to the clothes and allowed us the honor of dressing them. Thank you to @neimanmarcus for their support from our first collection. Thank you to all of the extraordinary creative collaborators and artisans who have helped bring every collection to life. It truly takes a village (and a lot of favors, late nights, passion, and duct tape!). Thank you to @hurelparis for being such wonderful partners.
