As this Sunday was the first week of Lent we kicked off our second annual Lenten Plant Challenge! After taking some time for prayer and reflection on what Jesus may be calling us to this lent, we wrote down our Lenten promises and then “planted” them along with some beans. The challenge is to keep your plant alive from now through Easter as a visual reminder that as our plants grow, so also should we should in love for Christ. Anyone who brings back a live plant to youth group on Divine Mercy Sunday will get a prize!
