New York City feels different as a runner. Dodging and dashing through cars, communities, subway trains and busy streets. Photographer and runner @christina.bearden knows it well. She and her friends (@chrisdouge, @thegrandslam, @doctor.shank) took our Run Visible gear out to Red Hook in Brooklyn to keep their run going, even as the sun goes down. It’s the city that never sleeps
“What I love the most about running in NYC is the diversity in atmosphere. You honestly can run through the streets, run through the bridges, and catch the sun rise or sun set, run through prospect park or Central Park. Depending on my goal for either distance or hill workouts I take a different route to have a different experience. If you haven’t done it, you definitely should.” - Mel Peralta
