Marcelo Claure, a former Sprint CEO and SoftBank Group executive, is listing a piece of waterfront land in Miami Beach for $39.9 million. Located on North Bay Road, the property has about 150 feet of water frontage and views of downtown Miami, said listing agent Nelson Gonzalez of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty. Permitted plans for a 14,000-square-foot home are included in the offering, Mr. Gonzalez said. Mr. Claure was the chief operating officer of SoftBank Group, a Japanese conglomerate, before leaving the company earlier this year. He is now chairman and CEO of Claure Capital. Mr. Claure paid $11.1 million for the roughly 0.6-acre Miami Beach property in 2020, records show. He demolished an older house on the site and tapped architect Kobi Karp to design a new home, but has since decided to sell because he’s not spending enough time in Miami, Mr. Gonzalez said. “Work is keeping him in New York,” said Mr. Gonzalez. Read more via the link in @wsjrealestate's bio. 📸: LEGENDARY PRODUCTIONS
