Great leg day w/ @regangrimes
Milking the tempo on every set.
Coming from someone with 3 knee surgeries & grade 4 arthritis in both my knees I still love to train heavy and want to continue to build up my legs.
However what really sheers the joints
is poor mechanics on top of jerky fast repetitions.
Can you lift a lot heavier? Sure. Will you look cooler on IG? Of course but the feeling of non stop tension on your muscle through out the whole set and living in that pain is something that can’t be replicated.
Each set I only pause at the top when I’m about to hit failure to keep non stop tension on the quads 💪🏽
Workout listed below in order:
- Lying leg curls
- Hack Squats
- Leg Press
- Leg Extension triple drop set
- Smith Squat Rack (second set did heel elevated squat not filmed)
