CLOSE YOUR EYES AND FEEL THE FREEDOM OF YOUR HAND MOVEMENTS. Based on my experience as an instructor, I see my students struggle a lot with the tension and discomfort in their hand and wrist while working holding the PMU device. Mostly concentrating on how not to drop the device while holding it correctly. This automatically results in creating INCORRECT strokes 🚫. These blocks of strokes will have a heavy beginning or end of stroke. Now you will have a hard time blending and making a uniform filling on the lips, inconsistent length of the strokes and pressure which will lead to increasing the duration of the procedure and unevenly applied pigment. Additionally your needle will trip creating a micro trauma to your clients lips, pain in your wrist and hand and much more. This happens because your brains tries to over control your hand movements. By closing your eyes while you are practicing on the latex you will automatically switch off your brain and start fully enjoying the freedom of your hand movements. You will feel like your device weighs nothing (feels like a feather) and you will see the progress in your work right away. Remember your hand is the main instrument and your hand is the continuation of your PMU device.
