Public parks are a gateway to healthier communities.🧡 ➡️ In 2020, we created the #RouteToParks Grants Program to improve park access for all communities – prioritizing those who face financial challenges, so everyone has the opportunity to create authentic and meaningful connections with nature. 🌳 ➡️ With that funding, our grantee @big_city_mountaineers created a trip series to reduce barriers to enjoy the outdoors – such as lack of transportation and not having the gear or knowledge about where to go.
