Giselle by Akram Khan with the English National Ballet - likely the most beautiful piece of art I’ve EVER seen. The classic story of love, betrayal, and collective female rage, retold in a modern reinterpretation exposing the plight of garment factory workers under servitude to the upper class. It was haunting, dynamic, breathtaking, inspiring, and I cried almost the entire time. I knew it was going to be great but it far exceeded my expectations. Truly an experience and I may go as far to say that it might have been life changing. Thank you @sergioluismesa for taking me to a theater that is so special to you.
