“Aloha ‘Oe” to my beautiful haumana, and Mahalo Nui Loa to my co-Kumu’s and collaborators! This experience at USC School of Dramatic Arts, workshopping our new Hawaiian Musical is something that I will always cherish. Being able to step into these haole white spaces and share and celebrate my Hawaiian culture, language, Aloha, and Queen Lili’uokalani’s story, is an experience that I will take with me, in the journey to continue work on this piece.
