NICU diaries (9): scheduling. Planning when we are going to go see our daughter in the day (or night) feels so weird, formal and mechanical. Do we have childcare? Do we have a break in our work days? Can we go to the NICU together? Will she be awake? Do we want to go during a feed time? Did I pump before or should I pump there? Is today a bath day? Did I pack her milk and clean clothes? And then.. when it all aligns and we are finally with her— it’s just the BEST. Moments of ♥️bliss♥️ like this where she just holds our fingers and looks at us so eagerly. 🥹 We love you so so much sweet girl!
