GRIEF x @thekitchen_nyc coming to you Nov 2022 - Jan 2023 !! • [swipe for details] This is a major honor for me, as somebody who has been inspired by both The Kitchen (shoutout to the geniuses @sunrara & @vijayiyer who first introduced me to it) and by the world-changing work of @ellerustle , to have a performance series & exhibition at The Kitchen in their new space at Westbeth. Honored to be joining the generations of artists who performed & showed their work here. This is both exhibition & performance - doing shows all throughout the run + showing work ! All built around the GRIEF album . I’m preparing a brand-new reworking of the music from the album, plus some special pieces I’m keeping up my sleeve. This will not just be performance, it will be convening space. To feel & to express & to feel more. Also we’ll be exhibiting filmic works from throughout my body of work, including the works of our collective RSCK and collaborations with @christian_padron_ @rayneutron @kassimnorris @vash.ni @joshbegley @dannypfeffer957 & more.
