last weekend in perhaps what is one of the wildest desert locations in the southwest. these two Canadians came down to Utah for an evening exploring this sand dune/natural amphitheater to take engagement photos. These golden yellow-orange walls looked like merengue, or pancake batter, or cake icing. Silk fabric in the wind, stretched curtains, ethereal folds of luxurious fabric — anything but hardened sandstone. Perhaps that’s where the real inspiration comes from — the reality is so mind-blowingly impossible, that it really makes you feel small in its mass and timelessness. either way, a fantastic evening getting to know these two. We can’t wait for their wedding in another desert this spring.
