This years last musical excursion was my traditional visit to Beirut during Christmas. My last visit was in 2019 when there was an eruption of chaos, an uprising of the people and a call for revolution. A lot has changed since then.. Its been a difficult two years for all of humanity but the people of Lebanon have specifically been living through excruciating times and crises. What is so admirable and inspiring is that the spirit of the people and the land remain as strong as ever. This spirit that I have never experienced anywhere else. Gratitude towards life, and an imperishable urge to make the most of each breath. In all the darkness one is still able to see the spark of joy. To all my friends around the world, visit Beirut. Meet the most genuine people, eat the best food, experience a freedom to dance, become enchanted by the divine views, and see all the things that can be done when life gives you lemons... My Lebanese peoples, I cannot thank you enough. Never stop radiating this undefinable energy. Find your strength in the sound. Continue to be a lesson of existence to us all.
