A first installment in a series of home goods. This was a creative process in how to limit myself to a single cinderblock while finding some freedom in that limitation. The focus was to turn this into a piece of furniture that was functional and also eye-catching. The process involves a diamond dust wet sander on the block to reduce imperfections for a stable slide of a modular table topper. This also functions as a collaborative project between the acrylic topper and the end user. The accessibility of cinderblocks means anyone could acquire their own cinderblock and therefore have a table. Varying colors and sizes of cinderblocks allows more opportunities to make this table more your own. Materials: Acrylic, Resin, Concrete.
