Kuleana is a Hawaiian word that is often used but has a deeper meaning than typically understood. It starts from within and guides our relationships with everything in our lives including our kaiāulu, our community. Being part of a 7-year initiative to restore the Ala Wai is an honor for us because of the role it played in shaping Waikīkī into the renowned beach destination it is today.
