Today we are excited to announce a packaging update that has been in the works for almost two years! As we move from our signature tin to a resealable pouch made from 100% recycled plastic - we think it's important to explain to our customers WHY this is so important. In the past year, COVID has brought about a changing business landscape, including a host of global supply chain issues you've most likely read about in the news. This shift in packaging will ensure we will be able to keep our products as fresh as possible and available to our customers. Our matcha is still sourced exclusively from our partnered family farms in Japan, and we are stoked to be bringing the packaging process home to the US - where we can avoid port delays, and a host of other elements associated with supply chain backups. The new pouch is also lighter and easier to ship, which helps conserve fuel needed to ship these products to your door.
