What a great experience to return to Durango and shoot Super 8 for @anthdamatomusic. Reposted from @anthdamatomusic . Shot entirely on Super 8 in and around Durango, Colorado, the video for my new single, "Long Haul," features a century old narrow gauge steam stream, an authentic 1929 Ford Model A, and a horse named Warrior on an epic journey through the San Juan Mountains. . "Long Haul" is a song about commitment and devotion. There’s a lot of new love and infatuation songs out there, but I wanted to write something that celebrated the slow burn, that honored endurance and loyalty and faithfulness. . Filmmaker @daviddibbleland captured the perpetual motion of the music brilliantly from the top of Molas Pass to the bottom of Cascade Canyon, and the film from @pro8mm kept the vibe timeless, which was really important to me.
