I posted this in my story and a lot of you seemed to appreciate the inspiration, so I thought I would share it here for awhile🤗 *disclaimer* There is nothing wrong with the picture on the left. This is simply a before and after to show how fitness and nutrition changes can transform your physique. I was 25 in the picture on the left, I’m now 35 (a few of you had trouble with that one 😅😘 bless you) I’ve fallen off the wagon way too many times and I’d be much bigger if I would stick with it, but depression is a bitch 😅 At the end of the day, looking fit is nice or whatever…but after 2020 I realized how important exercise is for my mental health. It’s the only time in my day JUST FOR ME. It’s the one time of the day I really get to be selfish and tune out the world and say, “I’m showing up for me today. I’m putting in work for me. This is my time.” So here’s my challenge to you 🙌🏼 Even if you have no interest in losing weight, or building muscle…if you have the ability to, go exercise. Do it for yourself. The effects eating healthy foods and getting regular exercise have on your body physically and mentally are so worth the effort. I promise. Plus, exercise relieves stress. And god knows we’re all f*cking stressed out these days 😬😅 Go have yourself some you time 🤗 Your mind and your spirit will thank you. 🧘🏻‍♂️💞
