🗝️SPHINX & SNAKESKIN🗝️: We are beyond happy to announce that our showroom & community event space, @sphinxandsnakeskin is rising from the ashes like the Phoenix after being closed the past couple of years & will be reopening this December 17th! When we moved our studio to Old City in the beautiful historic building that has been our studio since 2018, we had two floors, a production floor and a floor that has been a ‘home’ both to our jewels as well as to artists, speakers, & makers of many kinds ~ all who we’ve hosted on energy exchange, not monetary exchange~ as a way to provide a place for folks to share their work with others in our space, to inspire everyone who comes through the doors. We believe we’ve succeeded in this most of the time and that’s the best one can hope for on this timeline ~ the scales tipping more in the favor of inspiration, wonder and beauty in our home ~ and we are so grateful for the opportunity you have given us to make this a possibility once again ~ for us to open our doors to you & for you ~ for us to share what I dream up and we make ~ for us to have a place for other artists to share what they dream up and make ~ a place for folks to come in and meet each other or be with each other in kinship. 🖤 Please join us in celebration from 2-6pm on December 17th, we’ll have one of a kind jewels available, special cocktails, some surprises via @jason.w.blake & above all, we’ll have each other. • Following this, on December 18th, we’ll be hosting our 1st event ~ @handsomedevilspuppets will be having a puppet show ‘Tremendous, Strange & Curious: A Carnival of Wanting’! Doors for this event are at 1pm, the show will begin promptly at 1:30.
