After an epic stay in Maui, we’ve landed in Waikiki, Hawaii! We’re here for our bestie, @claire__tofu’s wedding, but we’ll be eating our way around the island this week! One of our first stops was at Piggy Smalls, which I think is one of the best restaurant names ever. Piggy Smalls is the second restaurant from award winning chef Andrew Le and his team at The Pig & The Lady. We came here for weekend brunch and ordered two specials and their famous French Dip Banh Mi. So so good! This is already one of our favorite dishes in Hawaii. PHO 75 - their family recipe of beef pho that they’ve been making since 1975. Served with rare steak & stewed brisket scallion, culantro, fermented chili paste, citrus 6 & 7. Oxtail Bo Kho - a rich & aromatic Vietnamese style beef oxtail stew, south asian spices, star anise, lemongrass, a herb mix of garlic chives, thai basil, culantro 8 & 9.
