A year ago, we made the tough decision to retire from the road. Venturing into the unfamiliar was daunting, but the challenges of trucking had finally taken their toll. The contract I was working on wasn’t extended, and the steady stream of income we had come to rely on ceased. With a family depending on me, I knew I had to make a change. Taking that leap of faith turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made.
