We got a win today at Laguna Seca in the Duckhams LM! The @gordonmurrayautomotive team worked their arse off to rebuild and almost re design the front suspension after an issue on Thursday. The DFV in our car meant we had a wee advantage but today’s race was about one thing for me, Gordon seeing his car driven flat out 50 years after his pals Alain and Chris did just that at Le Mans. His first words to me afterwards were “that was for Alain” ❤️ As @mfranchitti said afterward “as kids we dreamed about the cars that Gordon designed so to sit with him after the race and re live winning in one of his creations was pretty special”.
