Last night was my 5th time photographing Iron Maiden, and my 18th time seeing them live, dating back to 1982 when the supported the Scorpions at the Oakland Arena. They have been my all-time favorite band since I was 15 years old, and to this day I still listen to them on an almost daily basis. As most concert photographers know, it’s not easy to get approved, and it’s pretty much the holy grail of photo passes.
