As I deepen my spiritual practice, I feel more alive than ever before. A huge part of this has been detaching from grind culture. We are so conditioned to believe that we are meant to hustle hustle hustle at the expense of our own well-being. When we skip a meal, lose sleep, or feel exhausted as a result of working, we are applauded for our commitment and dedication to work. This isn’t healthy. We aren’t meant to push ourselves to these kinds of limits. It’s concerning to witness people getting caught up in this grind culture and their health suffering mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Becoming glued to our phones/computers, lacking true quality time/connection, and depleting ourselves isn’t working. We must find ways to reconnect and nourish ourselves. We must recognize that our well being is a priority, not a luxury. If we nurture, love, and care for ourselves, that love will only expand out to the world. I have found that spending time in nature is one of the easiest ways to reconnect to myself and in turn to others. The more I do this, the more connected I feel to not only to those I love, but anyone I meet. Remember our connection, for it is deep and sacred 🤎☮️🌴🌱🍃🌎🌞
