Don’t skip upper body cuz you think you will get bulky! If you want that hourglass figure you gotta do upper body to give the illusion of an hourglass. Once again I am not a certified personal trainer, so I can’t really teach y’all what to do or tell you something is a fact or isn’t, but this has so far worked for me and my fitness journey. I used to think doing upper body will make me look less feminine or make me look too jacked, but that hasn’t been the case! My Posing and flexing show a lot of my gains and may seem to look bulky or jacked, but when not flexing or posing I feel like I look toned. My “hourglass” started showing more when I did upper body and truly focused on it in my routine. It’s basically to me like a teeter totter. You wanna keep it balanced from upper and lower body. So don’t skip upper body and don’t be afraid of it! Once again not certified this is just what I think and what has gotten me towards this “hourglass” besides genetics + my metabolism.
