I just submitted my fourth draft of MEET ME AT THE LAKE, and I’m so bonkers excited for this book. (Is it May 2, 2023 yet?!) I think it has so much heart and I just love spending time with Fern and Will and the rest of the gang on the lake at Brookbanks Resort. I hope you will too! It was such a beautiful day in Toronto that I worked for a while this morning on a bench outside Roy Thomson Hall. It felt right. EVERY SUMMER AFTER is, in part, my love letter to Barry’s Bay. MEET ME AT THE LAKE is, in part, a tribute to this city. We’re in the midst of cover design, and I cannot wait to share what the art team has come up with. Soon!
