The Sundance Institute Sandbox Fund is an open-call grant program with support given directly to independent filmmakers to cover development, production or finishing costs, with no strings attached, and is separate from our main productions at Sandbox Films. Experimental by design, the program allows us to take risks, to nurture bold ideas, to uncover new voices, and together with artists, to re-imagine science documentary.
