In 2018, she was elected Federal Representative – and in her first year in office, received the “Prêmio Congresso em Foco.” A Harvard graduate in Economics and Political Science, Renan Ferreirinha is Co-Founder of Formigueiro, the first crowdfunding platform in Brazil dedicated exclusively to educational projects; Mapa Educação, a movement that fights for quality education for all Brazilians; and Acredita, an independent political movement that works to renew people, practices, and principles in Brazilian politics. In 2018, he was elected State Deputy for the PSB in Rio de Janeiro – and in January 2021, assumed the Municipal Department of Education of Rio de Janeiro, where he served for 1 year and 3 months.
