UPDATE: still looking for a foster starting Wed. night! As much as we don’t need more cats, the shelter wouldn’t take him. Asking the good sam to put him back in the bag & leave him back on the side of the road in Echo Park kind of seems like animal cruelty. The good sam has 2 large dogs who aren’t cat friendly & they’ve had a heck of a time trying to isolate this kid safety without their pups ripping at the doors in the house. He safe with a temp foster, but will need someplace to land once he’s neutered. He’s a total sweetie who deserves a heck of a lot more than he’s had to endure so far. If you can help, there’s a link in our bio for our foster app. Things are very tough right now, we really could use the extra help this month. Also, Echo Park neighbors, for years we’ve heard reports of animal abandonment, dogs & cats, in the park areas surrounding Dodger Stadium & the trails in Elysian Park near Angel’s Point. If you see something get a photo & please do whatever you possibly can to get the animal someplace safe. It’s not ok for people to dump their pets to be eaten by coyotes & LAPD can’t help without proof. Thank you to @silverlakecats of helping us try to manage this during a tough week. ❤️
