I was wearing your sweatshirt when I got the call. There’s really nothing I can say to express how it felt because I thought you would be fine. You were always fine. I hope you’re sleeping without snoring, listening to Wild Thoughts, & watching the Vegas video on repeat (sorry it took me so long). I hope the Cowboys & Huskers are actually good up there & you don’t have to shut the game off in the 3rd quarter because “it’s over”. I hope you’re standing on the table singing happy birthday & saying “not now right now”. I hope you felt no pain. I hope you’re at peace. I hope we meet again.
