ARC Run Club 28 September 2022 Strength & Conditioning for the trails - Hill Sprints The session is designed to build muscular strength and endurance to improve your performance during long accents in the mountains. During hill sprints, you intend to activate more muscle fibres to produce a greater force and it helps to improve neuromuscular strength. It will also improve tissue capacity to reduce macular damage for those long trail runs. The workout will consist of sprinting uphill and recovering coming downhill.
