hawaii understands me, GETS me. but california KNOWS me, intimately. hawaii is my mirror, a twin flame bond, the warmth of the sun on salty skin. california is my childhood bed, a long-term treasury bond, the shore I crash into. both are home to me. my trip home for the holidays was so good for my heart!!!
