If 2020 was about embracing healthier and more sustainable ways of thinking, doing and being — in order to be my most authentic and favorite version of myself — then 2021 was about making it stick. Change is hard, but it’s also fragile. And being back outside put all the elevated posts I shared and promises I made to myself to the test. For my birthday this year, I wanted to honor trusting my instincts as I move forward and my fortitude to not moving backwards. Am I at my personal mountaintop? No. Am proud of how making my way there, reaching over discomfort, doubt and endless distractions? Yes! Many thanks to the crew, my LA family who helped me celebrate not only my bday but my 10 year anniversary in this city.
