This lovely gentleman approached me at the @biggrillfestival as I was chatting to @sugarfiresmokehouse and snacking on their delicious beeria taco. This man apologised for interrupting but had to tell me something. “I got into BBQ because of you. You wrote a little book a while back with that chef, @jamieoliver. I bought that and started watching your YouTube channel and I was hooked. I wanted to thank you for getting me into BBQ. I love it. Can I please get a photo with you?” I responded, “of course, but I am the one who is grateful and would like a photo with you.” Love days like these.
