Has this happened to you? 🤯 This comes from a space of understanding that most people are very well-intentioned and are just trying to offer their best advice. This also comes from the space of “I know my child best.” Today I was told that if I didn’t put a cap on T he would have ear problems, which I know is not true. It was not so much the comment that bothered me, but the misinformation that followed about my child’s health. I didn’t appreciate this scare tactic, especially on a mild day.😭 Of course there is some sage parenting advice out there, back by evidence based methods. There’s also great advice that comes in the form on “I tried this, it could work for you.” For us, filtering what we consume is key! #montessori #parentingadvice #unsolicitedadvice #parentingmemes
